CNY Day 2

On the second day of CNY, after going to my friend house, went to my 三姑 house. Every year, my cousins will go to play cards with 五叔. 五叔 was given the nickname 'five cent uncle' as 五叔 has quite a no. of five cents.

We had dinner at 三姑 house.

CNY Day 1 (Part 2 of 2)

Ever since my grandfather passed away, every year during CNY Day 1, we will gather at my 大伯 house.

We had 捞鱼生 (i took the photo while they were preparing for the yu sheng, so can't see the raw fish) first before we had our lunch.

CNY Day 1 (Part 1 of 2)

On the first day of CNY, after going to my 大伯 house (will post on another day), went to another relative (my mum side) house in the late afternoon.

Had dinner at my relatives house, normally she will cook for everyone who went to visit her. We were the last batch to eat and we eat at 6pm as we wanted to watch The Little Nyonya's Big Reunion at 7pm. I always enjoys eating my relative food as her cooking is always very nice.

三姑house on 8th February 2008 (Day 2 of CNY)

After leaving grandaunty house, went to 三姑 house at Punggol as 2 of my 四姑 daughters want to go play cards with my 五叔, 三叔 wife and 堂弟 Lionel was there also, so went to join in the fun, and my 三姑 cook dinner for us.

When going home, passed by Harbourfront and took picture of the above which is at Harbourfront.

Grandaunty house on 8th February 2008 (Day 2 of CNY)

Yesterday went to Grandaunty house to 拜年, she's a very very good cook and her cooking is really very very nice. Have always love her cooking very very much as her food is super super delicious. She's also very nice, every year she will cook for every visitors to her house, whether it's relatives or friends.

Day 1 of CNY

Time flies very fast and today mark the start of the Year of the Rat.

Ever since the death of my grandfather in 2003, every year CNY 大伯 will ask all of us to go to his house for lunch. Normally he will cater for the lunch because our family is big.

After leaving my 大伯 house, pop by my friend Lijun place to say hi to her husband as her place is not very far away from my 大伯 house, her husband is in Singapore for 2 weeks until next Wednesday where he returns to Shanghai.
