See these so beautiful Kueh Lapis. Aunty Irene have a new oven at home and her first product using the new oven is Kueh Lapis. Thanks to Aunty Irene that we have a chance to taste her Kueh Lapis.
Dish of the day is 香酥五香肉, even i don't like fatty fatty meat, but Aunty Irene 香酥五香肉 is so nice that i can't stop eating it. I intend to do this dish using chicken, but not so soon, because my fridge is spolit, must wait till i get a new fridge first... kekeke...
See these Chilli Prawns, the prawns is so big, the other time i cooked it, i've peel off the shell, yesterday i eat with the shell on, the taste is different.
This is our (Aunty Irene,Mary, Margaret, Ah Oink, L-5 and me) dinner for the day : 香酥五香肉, chilli prawns, bean sprout with salted fish.

It is very very nice, saw Aunty Irene season the pork with seasoning and put it in the fridge for some time, after that coat the pork with the '钟' biscuit and then deep fry it...
Maybe she will teach it in 厨房笔记...

That day Aunty Irene got make 1 set for us to share to bring back, i 4get to bring mine home, so cannot share the kueh lapis with u... kekeke...
i dunno how to eat layer cake. last year some one gave one big cake. keep until mouldy. this year i faster give away. the cake so big i think it cost a lot. cos they are quite expensive.
