Day 1 : SG --> Colmar Tropicale (28th Oct)

Tuesday (28th Oct) starts my short holiday with my mum at Colmar Tropicale and KL, this trip is quite last minute also as i booked it through the Travel Malaysia 2008 Fair. Have wanted to go Colmar Tropicale for quite some time ago as saw from brochure and website that the place looks nice. Actually i wanted to book Colmar Tropicale and Penang, but the staff from the agent that i book mention that there's no connecting transport from Colmar Tropicale to Penang. They only have transport from Colmar Tropicale to KL/Genting. So choose KL. Why Penang? Of course is to look for 鼎鼎大名的思胜 mah.

This is the double decker coach that we took from Golden Mile Complex to KL. (Have to transfer to a mini van at KL to go to Colmar Tropicale. The coach leaves at 8am.

The coach stops at Yong Peng for a 1/2 hour break. As we were not very hungry at that time. We ordered a bowl of prawn mee (RM6) to share.

We reach KL at around 2.10pm. The bus stops at opposite Berjaya Times Square and we have to walk to the Berjaya Times Square Hotel West Wing to transfer to a mini van to take us to Colmar Tropicale. The mini van leaves at 2.30pm and the journey takes around 1 hour. (Reach Colmar Tropicale around 3.30pm). After reaching Colmar Tropicale and checking in at the resort, we went to have our late lunch cum dinner.

I ordered this set of Chicken Hamburger and it cost RM7 and an orange juice. (The orange juice is not cheap and it cost RM8 for a cup).

As for the side dish (there are a variety from the menu to choose from) and can choose two types from the menu.

My mum order the roasted chicken set meal and it comes with a drink and a dessert (Price for it is RM22).

After having our late lunch cum dinner. We went to walk around the place.
